fwiw, I thought feghouli looked better on the right wing and agree he and Antonio were effectively in each others correct positions.

Another odd bilic move for me.

Agree abbout Feghouli. He's one of these players that you just give up on, simply because not in a million years will he ever come good at this level. He's the type of player that you never wanted to pass to when you played football.

I sometimes wonder if people were actually watching the same game or if they were even watching at all!

Feghouli was shocking. Didn't beat his man once, constantly offside, when he did get a chance he fluffs that and kicks it out for a goal kick.

How can anyone defend his performance last night?

Just to add to it he was playing in the position Antonio (you know, this seasons top goal scorer for us, no biggie) should be playing in! What must he think.

Only the 3 injuries last night though Cony.

All in all a pretty woeful performance and it's hard to take any positives at all from it.

Arsenal's team selection last night showed a complete lack of respect to all of the thousands who paid good money to see a quarter final (and basically the most expensive season tickets in the world), but Christ they're gonna be all nice and fresh to face our cripples on Saturday now.

Another defeat coming up!

What is the point of a football team that doesn't play its best team in the only competition it has a realistic chance of winning?
I expect when we line up Saturday most of the Arsenal players will have played 4 or 5 more games each than our players this season.
Footballers should play football

I thought feghouli looked ok given the circumstances and the occasion. Worked hard, moved well and tried to make things happen. I just want him to get fit and have a run of games either starting or coming off the bench. There's definitely a decent player there.

We looked very good around the time we scored and just after. Some woeful passing and loss of possession and they took full advantage. We can't afford to do that against any team let alone the Mancs on their turf. We were careful with who we played and how we played our 'first' team players. We need a strong performance on Saturday more than ever.

Highlight of the night - shaking hands with Ludo who watched the game with the away support.

Feghouli was absolutely shocking , the summer signings must just about be our worst transfer window

Was that Rooney? I thought it was Phil Mitchell.

On the positive side, Adrian had a decent game, although let himself down with the foul on Zlatan, & Feg looked better on the wing & linked up well with Fernandez.

That's all I got.

Oh Rooney didn't score & got kicked in the mush.

Re: ⚽ Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 4-1
TBH that whole set up reeked of saving ourselves for the Arse game on Saturday. Noble & Lanzini would have been in the team from the start.
Our midfield lost the ball far too easily and Man Utd were rampant in the beginning. They should have scored 2-3 tbh before we started to make any inroads in their defence.

Feghouli like som many of our new signings seems to lack confidence. One moment where had the ball with Fletcher running out right he should really have bombed fwd and had a shot at goal or at least played the ball to Fletcher. Instead he dawdled and did so most of what I saw.
Don't start me on Zaza. He seems to know his time is up & he's flopped tippie-toeing about hoping people think he's putting the effort in. His wide eyed look is resembling Callieri's ; "where the f*** am I and how did I get here?"

I've resigned myself that it'll be like this until we get Carroll & Sakho back because we have absolutely nothing upfront. Great for Fletcher to open his account but he looks young ...perhaps too young...at times.

Also thought Antonio like a few others over cook possession sometimes. Just release the ball quickly. When we did pass the ball quicker we actually looked a little threatening and I recall our goal actually coming from that when Payet got the ball with pace & he just ran on and had a shot which created the chance. More of this please instead of the over elaborating (no doubt also caused by the fact that we have no outlet).

I'm intrigued what will happen in January.
Concerned that not many will want to come to us for the cause even if we want to spend the money.
Wouldn't say no to either Sturridge or Batshit but why would they come to us ??

Agree with a previous poster that we have far too many Euro names in the squad. We need grafters too, proven in the PL. Where's Quashie nowadays??

Can't be arsed to read the thread but I think I'm done with these mugs now, fucking disgrace to the shirt. Bilic clealry needs to fuck off, and I surely don't need to explain why? What with the ridiculous injury situation it's just too much fucking pain now.

Seriously, fuck off, I've had enough.
